ELECTRIC PORT CRANE

ITALGRU Electric Mobile Harbour Cranes are the result of careful studies of technological developments and the application of the necessary technologies to modern harbour equipment in order to handle every type of goods. Efficient, mobile and versatile, ITALGRU’s electric mobile harbour cranes can be used in any port for the handling of: bulk materials, steel or scrap metal, general cargo and heavy loads, containers.

Our crane designs, in compliance with F.E.M. 1.001 Design Rules allows for classifications from A3 to A8 based on client’s requirements.

Besides the standard travelling on carrier, all Italgru Mobile Harbour Cranes are available in configuration with portal on rail and portal on tyres.

Gantry Harbour Crane on tyres (IGHC-T E model)

When the maximum utilization of space on the berth becomes of primary importance for port operation, the selection of harboUr crane on portal on tyres is the right choice. This type of crane allows the utilization of the space under the portal, usually enough for transit of two trucks, and, in the same time, allows the same flexibility of movement of the standard undercarriage on tyres.

Gantry Harbour Crane on rails (IGHC-R E model)

This is the solution for electrified berth, equipped with existing rails. The mobile harbour crane is usually replacing an existing rail mounted crane. It is a space saving solution which combines the standard slewing upper structure of Italgru Mobile Harbour Cranes (IMHC series) with a rail mounted portal structure.
